Conegliano Valdobbiadene is a wine region of extraordinary beauty located in the heart of the Veneto region, in north-eastern Italy. This area is famous the whole world over for its production of the well-known Prosecco Superiore wine, and in 2019 it was officially designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene area features a breathtaking hilly landscape, with vineyards that extend as far as the eye can see on the slopes of the rolling hills. The combination of a favourable climate, a soil rich in minerals and a wine growing tradition that goes back centuries has made this place the ideal terrain for the production of high quality Prosecco.

History, Tradition and Passion
Vine growing and the production of Prosecco Superiore are central elements in the life of brothers Sergio, Bruno and Diego Merotto, a family that has been active in the hills of Col San Martino in the municipality of Farra di Soligo (TV) for four generations.
In these lands the wine-growing tradition has been passed down from father to son for centuries, becoming not only a profession but also a way of life and a point of reference for the cultural identity of the local community. Here the Merotto brothers, now joined by their young nephew Luca, carry on their work with a thorough knowledge of the territory, grape varieties and winemaking techniques

Vineyards and cellar
The MOLINETTO wine growing enterprise is located at Col San Martino, a hamlet of Farra di Soligo which is one of the most important locations in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, famous for its production of high quality Prosecco Superiore. The proprietary vineyards are located on steep hills, in a privileged position that benefits from the perfect conditions for vine growing and making excellent sparkling wines.
The vines are grown on the slopes of the hills, where they enjoy optimal exposure to the sun and a mineral-rich soil, ideal for ensuring perfect grape ripening.

Sparkling and Semi-sparkling wines
The MOLINETTO winery produces high quality Prosecco in Superiore sparkling as well as semi-sparkling versions. The Prosecco Superiore sparkling wine stands out for its finesse and elegance, with fine and persistent bubbles that give the wine a lively and fresh character. The semi-sparkling version is instead typified by a lightness and pleasantness, with more delicate bubbles and a subtle effervescence that makes it the perfect wine for social and joyous occasions.
